As a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and advocating for the sustainable management of soil resources, World Soil Day (WSD) is held annually on 5th December. An international day to celebrate the Soil Day and based on the theme of world soil day-December 5,2019 “Stop Soil Erosion, Save Our Future” , Youth Endeavor for Sustainable Agriculture(YES Agriculture) would like to connect itself in this auspicious global campaign by conducting the following events: 1) Soil test around the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Paklihawa farm and farmers field near the vicinity of the college. 2)Training and demonstration on Vermicompost preparation. 4)Demonstration of ‘JHOLMOL’ (Bio Fertilizer) with farmers. |
