Diamond Challenge: horn entrepreneurship

Date: August 4 to January 8 (submission deadline)     Type: Online

Those of you teenagers...sick of just living around...yearning to do something...wanting to come up with solutions to problems...wanting to MATTER...
This competition is just for you.
Diamond challenge is an entrepreneurship challenge for high school students (young adults, 14-18). It encourages teens to step out of their comfort zones and create concepts to some of the world's pressing challenges. It gives you the opportunity to leave the title of student and become life-long entreprenurs. Show your friends there's more to life than listening to BTS and swooning over 'cute' faces.

They will also offer over one million dollars prize package to the first winner! Doesn't that sound encouraging?

The competition has two tracks:

Business innovation: if your primary purpose is to solve a customer problem, this track is for you.

Social innovation: you should enter here if you want to solve a social problem and put an impact on the lives of people and environment. Tunza members and ambassadors, this is for you!

So what are you waiting for? Develop a concept and submit it by January 8 (that's the submission deadline). Who knows, you might get selected. If you're qualified for the second round, you will be asked to pitch your idea at a pitch location or make a pitch idea (in case you do not live near a pitch location). Then, if you're a semifinalist...

YOU WILL BE INVITED TO PITCH AT THE INNOVATION SUMMIT! IN UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE!

To be honest, that was what got me into this challenge. The fact that I had a chance to go to Delaware.

And to my fellow Tunza members and ambassadors, I know you're here to contribute to the environment. This is your chance to do something amazing. Enter the social innovation track, create an innovative concept that contributed to renewable energy, water sanitation, hygiene related to environment, waste management, alternatives to plastic. You could make a difference.

Good luck to all of you teenagers. Green cheers!

(By the way, don't ask me about my concept. It has nothing to do with environment. I know that's hypocritical of me, but there you go. I am working for blind people, any ways :))
