Formerly known as the Ambassador's Youth Advisory Council, the U.S. Embassy Youth Council is a group of Young Nepalese people between the age group of 18 to 27 representing various background, ethnicity, religion, profession and gender. The USYC was primarily established to inform the U.S Embassy about the challenges young Nepalese face and what can be done to address them, and to encourage participation by council members in their communities and the larger civil society.
