The Can Collection Campaign was the first awareness action program initiated by the EEG in 1997 and has been going strong for the past 17 years now. The campaign has set a benchmark across the UAE as one that allows the local community to actively express their commitment and concerns towards the protection of the environment. Since its inception, the campaign has gained tremendous support from all sectors of the society be it government, private sector, academic institutions or the individuals and families. I urge all to collect & deposit cans generously & contribute towards sustainable environmnet

The date is 27-Feb-14, given. Venues are one in each emirate like in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, etc.
