The Sharjah Environment Awareness Award is an environmental awareness award amongst all members of society, especially students in all schools, generations and for all. It aims at promoting the environmental education amongst students of all categories for the acquisition of values, knowledge and skills that lead to behavioral change that support the school and environment in a positive manner.

This award is based on the vision of His highness, Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah

More than 60 different schools and nurseries have participated in the SEAA and over 18 schools have been awarded for their outstanding efforts in their initiative towards protecting the environment.  The participating schools actively involved their students in a range of creative environmental projects and art-craft environmental educational exhibitions based on the 3R?s and saving the environment?s natural resources.
