EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) is accepting grant applications for public and community library projects. The projects that clearly define how the technology used will support the needs of children, and youth will be selected for the grant. Projects that explain about the services that improve literacy, encourage young people?s interest in technology, and support youth enterprise development, employment and careers, help young people improve their school results, promote gender equality in access to information and communication technologies, encourage girls and young women to pursue careers requiring computer programming and other advanced digital skills, encourage imagination and creativity, encourage civic engagement – that is, participation in local government and community decision-making processes or some other innovative and creative projects, will be awarded the grant.
