For the 5th time, Dubai Cares is organizing its Walk for Education, which will call upon residents and organizations in the UAE to walk 3 km in solidarity with the millions of children in developing countries that walk long distances on a daily basis to go to school. 

The walk is a wonderful opportunity for members of the UAE community to volunteer their time, enjoy fun activities with family and friends and meet new people. The walk will be followed by entertainment and activities for all at Jumeirah Beach Park.

Walk details:

• Location: Jumeriah Beach Park (Gate 6), Jumeriah Beach Road
• Date: Friday, February 7, 2014 
• Registration time: 8:00 am - 9:00 am
• Walk start time: 9:00 am (walk duration - 45 minutes)
• Participation fee: AED 30 (children under 5 are free)

How to participate: 

Individuals and groups can register for the Walk for Education 2014 at Dubai Cares offices starting January 20, 2014 (8AM - 4PM) OR onsite at Jumeirah Beach Park on the day of the event between 8am and 9am.
