"I look forward to teaching my students about endangered amphibians, notably frogs, again this year and sending their beautiful artwork for the 2013 contest your way! My best." "My first grade son and several of his friends are rolling out the art contest to their entire school of 645 children. What a great way to get the message out to such a large group of young people. We love what you are doing. I am am so proud of my 1st grade son. His passion and love of frogs and his commitment to spreading the word is inspiring. He had us construct a frog pond in our back yard to do some of his own conservation. This is what learning to love something bigger than yourself is all about. Thank you for your work and time." Please spread the word! To make this contest successful we need your help spreading the word! If you are an art teacher, please inform your fellow art teachers. This makes a great class project for Save The Frogs Day. If you are a student, tell your friends and teachers. Please put this flyer up around your school (just click on it and a PDF will open): Please email this to your friends & post on your website Frog Art Contest: Ready to submit your artwork? Have you read the Rules and the Art Contest Terms & Conditions? If not, please do so now. Digital Submissions If your artwork was digitally created, then you should follow these two steps. Please fill out this form ONLY if your art was CREATED using a computer. Please do NOT scan your paper artwork. Summary: this is where you submit DIGITAL art. (1) Fill out this entry form and click submit. (2) Then you MUST email your HIGH RESOLUTION file (in .jpg format ONLY) to art@savethefrogs.com with subject line Art Submission. Thanks! Snail-Mail Submissions: If your artwork is on paper or any other non-digital format, please mail it in. Multiple submissions should be placed in a single envelope. PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY: (1) If you are a TEACHER submitting all your students' beautiful artwork, you MUST include the Teacher's Mail-In Contest Entry Form. Do NOT glue the entry form to the artwork! One form per envelope is fine. (2) If you are NOT a teacher, then you MUST include this Mail-In Contest Entry Form with your artwork, one form per envelope. Do NOT glue the entry form to your artwork! (3) Contestants' name, age and country MUST be written carefully on the back side of the artwork (carefully means don't poke through the paper. We suggest using a pencil, and writing softly). This step is important, as your entry form and mailing envelope will be separated from your artwork! (4) Your Entry Form should NOT be attached to the artwork. No tape, no staples, no glue, no paper clips! (5) Mail-in entries will NOT be returned to the contestant: SAVE THE FROGS! plans to sell the artwork at a fundraiser to raise funds for our conservation work. (6) Please read the contest rules. (7) Note that Mail-in entries can be any size you wish, and created using any materials. (8) We strongly advise inserting a sturdy piece of cardboard into the package to keep it from getting bent (mailmen like to bend packages). Used cereal boxes work well for this, or cut a piece off a box you're getting rid of. (9) Please do not spend lots of money mailing your art: we prefer you donate to SAVE THE FROGS! rather than shipping via expensive priority mail or Fed Ex. As long as your mail is postmarked by October 15th, it will be entered into this year's contest, so there is no rush. (10) We encourage all participants from the (11) Write DO NOT BEND on the outside of your package, front and back, with large writing. Then mail your entry form and artwork to: That's it, good luck! Art Teachers This is a great classroom activity for Save The Frogs Day. If possible, please also have your class make a large banner that says either SAVE THE FROGS!, Save The Frogs Day, or savethefrogs.com (or a combination thereof). Take a photo of your class holding the banner, and email it to us. Then hang the banner in school as a permanent reminder of Save The Frogs Day, and as a call to action for all the school's students. FUNDRAISER IDEA: Put all the kids' artwork in a book and sell the books to parents at the next PTA meeting, as a fundraiser for SAVE THE FROGS! "I've been telling everyone about the contest and I am so interested in frogs now!" "We were excited to draw for your cause here at the Eastwood Boys & Girls Club. We wish you the best of luck with your foundation and welcome any educational materials you may have to further expand our knowledge of frogs.
