OPEN RECRUITMENT OF IGaF - INDONESIAN GREENACTION FORUM Date: 09/07/2013 to 25/07/2013 Type: Online
We are recruiting passionate children and youth from Indonesia between the ages of 9 - 25 as Local Committee Coordinator and Member, who are driven and motivated to help conserve and protect environment in Indonesia from the degradation and destruction. IGaF also welcomes participation from higher education institutions and school as well as stakeholders with a commitment and passion for environmental conservation. Currently, memberships to IGaF do not require any payments. As an IGaF Local Committee Coordinator and Member, you will: 1. gain environmental knowledge and support to implement eco-projects in your community/university 2. strengthen your leadership skills in environmental conservation across the Indonesian region 3. work together to execute small eco-projects proposed by you, involving your institutions 4. participate in innovative and environmental programmes with international partners of IGaF. Now, we are open two outstanding positions of IGaF which are Local Committee Coordinator and the Member of IGaF. The detail is below: 1. IGaF Local Committee Coordinator This position intends to coordinate a mutual relations between IGaF and the designated institution of yours. This position will be handled under guidance of Head of Local Council of IGaF and be directed respectively by University, High School and Elementary School Counselors. The duties of this positions are: a.To coordinate a mutual relations and projects based environment between IGaF and your institution with engaging children and youth b.To promote environmental activities, information, and programme of IGaF nationally and internationally c.To sustain an environmental project in your institution collaborated with IGaF Partners (UNESCO Jakarta, TUNZA Eco-generation, Eubios Ethics Institute and so forth). 2. IGaF Member This position is designated to achieve the goals of IGaF which are to embody Sustainable Environment and to attain Peace Culture. The duties of this position are: a.To promote environmental activities, information, and programme of IGaF nationally and internationally b.To sustain an environmental projects in your institution collaborated with IGaF Partners (UNESCO Jakarta, TUNZA Eco-generation, Eubios Ethics Institute and so forth) c.To engage children and youth in increasing environmental awareness and on conserving environment of being sustainable. For grabbing IGaF Member, you can download this form. The selection will be based on the merits of the individual. The deadline of application will be 25^th JULY 2013. Only selected Local Committee Coordinators representing university, high school and elemtary school will be interviewed again by skype.
