Whether in urban or rural areas, we always find ourselves in neighbourhood of some or other plant. It may be a crop, tree, bush, shrub, ornamental plant and birds  on trees and so on. Each one is an innate beauty created by Mother Nature. Discover the beauty through your camera or drawing .    

Theme for Adults (15 year and above)

Diverse Shades of Agriculture
In our country agriculture commands a wide canvas with many shades that include horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, birds in farmland and other allied sectors. Each shade is as beautiful and magnificent as the other. Capture various moods and shades of agriculture through a photograph/drawing .

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

The Competition is open to ALL  i.e. children and adults, except the employees of ICAR and its constituents (ICAR HQ, Institutes, National Research Centres, National Bureaux, Directorates/Project Directorates, Regional Stations, KVKs etc)

RULES OF PARTICIPATION

• Entries may be submitted as photographs and drawings including digital drawings. A participant may send only one entry.
• Entries may be emailed to response.icar@nic.in.
• Entries may necessarily include following information:

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

Your entry must reach latest by 23rd June 2013.

ADJUDICATION AND PRIZES

Entries received by 23rd June 2013 will be uploaded on ICAR Facebook page on 25th June. Adjudication will be done on the basis of total number of LIKES for each entry received from 25th June to 14th July. The results will be declared on the ICAR Foundation Day i.e. 16th July 2013 on the Facebook page of ICAR.

• Monetary prizes: Top five entries in each category (i.e., Children and adults) will be given a prize money of Rs. 2000/- each.
• Certificate of Participation will be send digitally to each participating entry.

HANDLING OF ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All entries will be handled by the organizers and will not be returned. Intellectual property of the entries is owned by the participants. The ICAR, however, will have the right to publish, exhibit, print or distribute these through any media.
