Give a Ghaf - Seed collection event

Date: 28/6/2013 to 28/6/2013     Type: Online

Students For The Earth is participating in the Give A Ghaf's event where seeds would be sorted out, etc for planting.
The time will be from 8:00-10:30 in the morning on June 28th 2013 (coming Friday)
Transportation won't be provided.
If anybody of you would like to be part of the Students for the earth team,
Do Send an e-mail to rijorose@hotmail.com with the Subject "Give a ghaf event"
Details regarding the venue, etc would be given to the registered participants in this week.

Details regarding the event:
Do you want to help us plant more Ghaf trees?
Come to join us, next Friday, for an hour of seed pods gathering and one hour of seed sorting! This way you help us to be well prepared for the next season!

Why?
For every 5000 seeds, only 1 becomes a full grown tree in the wild.
When we with "Give a Ghaf" sort out the best seeds and treat the young seedlings as well as any nursery tree, they have a 70% chance to become a beautiful self-sufficient dessert tree!!
