South Asia Youth Environment Network in association with United Nations Environment Programme(UNEP) will be organizing the 8th SAYEN Regional Meet (RM) which is scheduled to be held in Bhutan from 24thJuly-26th July, 2013. The RM will be hosted by Royal Society for Protection of Nature(RSPN),NFP Bhutan and jointly organized by Centre for Environment Education(CEE).The RM aims to gather young participants from South Asian countries and strengthen the capacity of these young leaders through discussions, experiential sharing on various themes related to UN Post 2015 agenda. The meeting will also focus on the development of draft recommendation in the context of developmental agenda beyond 2015.

Criteria for selection:

• 15-24 age group

• Should represent an organization/youth network from SAARC countries

• Should be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and also have experience and interest in environmental and sustainable development programmes

• Should have good knowledge about the UN post 2015 development agenda and also Agenda 21.

• Should effectively communicate in English.
