I always hear that Earth is dangerous now from everywhere.

National Geographic documentary '6 Degrees Could Change the World ', shows about the phenomenons when the earth's temperature gets 6 degrees higher. This documentary describes specific steps of Climate change, so it was very interesting to watch and to learn new information.

The configuration of the video is simple, It starts from the 1degree to 6 degrees and explains to us what happens in each steps. Unlike other documentaries that just describe the climate change. But, instead of the parts that can feel abstract the documentary shows particular problems of each countries and let viewers feel that climate change is society's problem and shows that there are no places that can avoid the affects of climate change. Also, it makes viewers to get attention about the climate change.

Especially the places where the plants or foods harvested are changing because of the climate change. For instance, the UK can harvest the high quality of champagnes because the climate changed to warn weather. As a result, the faith that 'champagne cannot be made in UK' fall to pieces.

Not only UK but also in Korea the phenomenons that documentaries expect are happening. We can easily see that areas that we can harvest various kinds of fruits are changing. Even the tropical fruits like mango and papaya are harvested in our country. The climate change is not the problem that documentary wants you to know. More serious problem that you should know and the documentary wants you to know is that the climate change is happening in a rapid way just in 10 years.

The people have tried to make more things that the earth can produce and there are some cases that people buy things more than they want. Because of these problems, various kinds of animals are in danger of extinct and the humans are keep destroyed. Furthermore, there are some places that resources are remained too much. On the other hand, there are some places that they are lack of resources. So, troubles are happened in some places.

There are more problems that I could say. Because of the development of the industry, the transportation became more convenient and the numbers of the cars increased. As a result, the carbon dioxide from the smoke increases and these results to many pollutions. In addition, because of the increasing ocean rates the island 'Tuvalu' can disappear in 2060. Someday, we could not travel to Jeju island anymore.

Now, it depends on our selection. We need a change of our thinks to protect the environments. Earth is the same with us. Earth is one of a kind of living thing like humans. So, earth cannot provide things unlimitedly. Therefore, protecting the earth should be the common interest.

We also need a responsibility to all of the world. I want to say and ask all of you that "what should we do to maintain the temperature of the earth?"

I have read an exhibition of environment about 'Nudge Effect'. 'Nudge Effect' means actions of making people decide into a right way without force and incentives. It is a wonderful word. Isn't it an amazing idea that it can make and move many people's mind without any forces and just only with the soft power?

Continue reading the book about the Nudge Effects, I thought that many people are caring about the environment. But, the most important thing is that the acts or behaviors should be practiced out with our body when we were young. We should start the things or campaigns that we can do if it is a small thing. For example, 3R ( Reduce, Recycle, Reuse), reducing food waste and saving water.

Also, we should let people know not only 'Earth is dangerous', but also 'Earth is important for our daughters and sons to live'. Plus, we should get concern continuously about the living things all over the world and must attend in various kinds of environment activities. Furthermore, to protect the global environment as well as creating a culture of tolerance, nonviolence, peace, you need to respect and understand each other's diversity.
