Rice is the best, the most nutritive and one of the most widespread staple in the world. In context of Nepal, rice is unquestionably the most important grain. According to our cultural norm, 15 Ashadh is considered as the auspicious day to start rice planting for the year. An annual festival of Nepal, National Paddy Day(Nepali Rastriya Dhaan Ropai Diwas) usually starts with the people making a parade in the village before entering the rice fields. In order to celebrate the National Rice Day-2078, IAAS Nepal LC Lamjung is pleased to announce 'The Article Writing Competition' with the theme "Increment in rice production for self-sufficiency". In this competition, participants are allowed to share their knowledge, ideas and views regarding any topic concerned with rice such as farming system ,rice cultivation,seed bed preparation, harvesting process, production, history of rice ,variety and so on. General guidelines for the competition:- - Send us your article related to our theme with your photo and address to our email iaasnepal.lamjung@gmail.com -Article can be in both Nepali or English language and must not exceed 500 words -Deadline for submission is Ashad 14, 2078 -There won't be any like/share criteria for declaring winner -100%judgement will be based on score through evaluation of judges based on the participants writing skill and the content of article -Our jury panel will be revealed very soon -Exciting prizes and E-certificate for top 3 winners If you have any queries regarding the competition, please feel free to ask on our page or contact us on given numbers.
