['Every living thing matters'] IAAS Nepal LC Lamjung formally announces the launch of "Action for Protection" Campaign for about a month on the theme "Nourishing life on Earth through Sustainable Agriculture Practices" on celebrating International Biodiversity Day on May 22. To increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues has been the major objective for this day. Environment is the place where we dwell in. The ecosystem in which we live provides natural services for humans and all other species that are essential to our health, quality of life and survival. Humans and their activities are the root cause for the degradation of environment. Being the most intellectual organisms that resides on Earth, it is soley their responsibility for its conservation and protection. So this campaign " Action for Protection" aims to provide information and knowledge regarding the present situation of environment and actions that can be performed for its protection from our side. Who can participate? How to participate? What to include in this theme "Nourishing life on Earth through Sustainable Agriculture Practices". 1. Both IAASer and Non-IAASier who are interested can be a part of this campaign. 2. Participants can share their photo with content, video, blogs, articles and poster depicting our theme "Nourishing life on Earth through Sustainable Agriculture Practices" to our email address iaasnepal.lamjung@gmail.com 3. Participants can include following things in "Action for Protection" campaign. - Climate change - solid waste management - compost making - Reduce , reuse ,recycle - Pollution - Laws and rules protecting environment - protected areas( NP, WR, CA, HR) - Sustainable agriculture practices 4. Blogs donot have any word limit. 5. Picture from another source/person can be used giving copyright to that person/source. But originality will be more preferred.
