Hello everyone. My name is Chhavi Singh and I am a high school student. This is my first text. As I grew up in a village, nature and environment has always been very close to me. All the time that I am in greenery gives me tranquility. But as time passed by, the greenery that I grew up in began to fade away. Establishment of many factories in my village has made it extremely difficult for us to even breathe or have safe drinking water. That's when I got this drive to do something about it. I started campaigning and telling people about the ill effects of water wastage and environmental pollution. I would also hold workshops in schools to educate children about the importance of environmental conservation. People would sometimes scold me for being too outright and trying to be more "educated" than them but that has never stopped me from passing my message to everyone. And thus my journey goes on and I am on my path to work as much as I can and do everything in my capacity. I wish to work hard with everyone so that we can shape a better and safe future for all.
