Date: 08/10/2020 to 14/10/2020     Type: Online

YouthLead Changemakers: Call for Focus Group Volunteers to Contribute to New Research on the Needs of Vulnerable and Marginalized Youth and COVID-19.

Changemakers in the YouthLead network are invited to help contribute to a new activity supported by USAID, Making Cents International, and Global Social Development Innovations (GSDI) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the United States. The purpose of the activity is to better understand the current trends, future direction, and opportunities to address the different needs of vulnerable and marginalized youth populations, including how young people have been impacted by COVID-19.

We are seeking volunteers between the ages of 18 and 35 years old to take part in one hour-long (60 minutes) focus group. For additional details about the research and your participation in the focus groups, please see the information below.

If you are interested in contributing to this study as a participant in a focus group discussion, please email Ephrem Woldeyesus, Youth Engagement Fellow, YouthLead and YP2LE at ephrem@makingcents.com with the subject line, ¡°Focus Group Volunteer¡± by 10 am EST Wednesday, October 14. In your email, please share your full name, age, country of residence, gender, and a link to your YouthLead profile. In a sentence or two,  please also share why you are interested in participating in the focus group so that our team can follow up with you.
