" Agribusiness Industry Conversation/ Food Safety, Quality Standards and Regulations " Dear all, On behalf of Youth For Agri Family, We greet you all! In order to provide you more insights on Agribusiness Industry , we, the family of Youth For Agri with Kings College and Baireni Agro Consultant are going to organize monthly Agri Talk Series Event. We hereby come with the information about our first series i.e about Food Safety, Quality Standards and Regulations on the aspicious occasion of World Food Day!! Meet Our Speaker Dr. Bed P. Khatiwada who is food safety/quality researcher and practitioner for fresh agricultural produce. He specialized in non-destructive assessment of food quality by using near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). With PhD from Central Queensland University, Australia in non-invasive detection of internal defects in fruit using NIRS, he worked with University of California, Davis as Postdoctoral scholar on pear quality research and Smart Fresh technology. He is currently working on fresh produce business based in Brisbane produce markets, Brisbane and provides technical guidance for better post-harvest management and safety and quality control. He is also working as expert for fresh produce safety and quality in Food and Nutrition Consulting Group, Melbourne Australia.
