Hello everyone, hope you all are doing really well .Although Government of Nepal announced the decision to end the nationwide lockdown from july 21st stil the pandemic of covid -19 has not ended yet so we urge everyone to stay safe. .Realizing the importance of GIS use in applied science( agriculture, veterinary, forestry, fisheries, food technology, etc). Youth Endeavour for Sustainable Agriculture presents 3 days of training on GIS which will be facilitated by Mr. Pradeep Gyawali who is working as Survey Officer at Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City, Dang. Geographic Information Systems are incredibly helpful in being able to map and project current and future fluctuations in precipitation, temperature, crop output, and more. By mapping geographic and geologic features of current (and potential) farmland scientists and farmers can work together to create more effective and efficient farming techniques; this could increase food production in parts of the world that are struggling to produce enough for the people around them. Agricultural Geographic Information Systems (AGIS) can map topography, crop health and help solve wider economic issues in municipalities and urban centers.
