On 23 July 2020, 10-11 AM CEST/ 3-4 PM Bangkok Time, the IUCN Nature-based Solutions (NbS) group and Commission on Ecosystem Management will launch the first-ever Global Standard for #NaturebasedSolutions amidst a global call to turn NbS into action. The Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions aims to help governments, NGOs, and businesses, design, invest, and scale-up action. It is the first-ever tool that will help design robust, durable actions for deriving benefits for people and nature. IUCN will be welcoming leaders, champions of NbS across regions and sectors to establish a joint vision as well as commitments to make this happen.
