As summer is proceeding, it's season for paddy seed bed preparation and transplantation!! Rice is major staple food in many countries around the world including Nepal. But, Nepal, though being a country to export paddy nearly three decades ago, is now importing paddy to feed its people all due to decreased productivity. Furthermore, during this pandemic as Nepal is on lockdown, people are likely to suffer from food insecurity too. Regarding these scenarios, "Urwar Krishi Samaaj", a group of Agriculture students, is organizing a webinar titled as " CultivatiImproved Rice Cultivation Practice; Problems and Solutions" on 17 June and 18 June. The main aim of the program is to interact with farmers and students , problems faced by them during paddy cultivation and trying best to solve their problems by a senior expert-Bishnu Bilash Adhikari.
