Virtual Workshop on Mental Health- Phase IV “Media and Psychological Reactions” The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has created a global health crisis that has had a deep impact on the way we perceive our world and our everyday lives. During this COVID-19 pandemic, mass media have become both a blessing and a curse. Hence, Youth Thinkers’ Society in collaboration with Peace First has come up with the fourth phase of the Virtual Mental Health Workshop “Media and Psychological Reactions” on 14th May, Thursday at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (NPT). This session will be focusing on mass media and psychological reactions during a pandemic. The facilitator for this workshop is Mr. Sujen Man Maharjan. Mr. Maharjan is a Psychologist and Founder/ Administrator of Nepalese Psychology Network (NEPsychNet). He has experience in research and psychosocial program management. He has worked with International Committee of the Red Cross, Action Contre la Faim and Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO) Nepal.
