First-ever virtual MUN (Model United Nations) Workshop is an initiative by the Youth Thinkers' Society in collaboration with the US Embassy, targeted towards installing a better understanding of what MUN is and how it works in the young leaders across all the borders. This one-day workshop will provide MUN enthusiasts with an opportunity to learn discussion, debates, and diplomacy along with an insight into the working strategy of UN and its various agencies.

The Workshop Series will be incorporating the basic knowledge of MUN, handy research tactics and negotiation skills. But this episode shall be majorly focussing on the Research Methodologies and Techniques for thorough preparation before the conference. The 3 hour-long sessions will be moderated by the President of MUN Society Nepal, Mrs. Trishna Thapa; where she looks forward to sharing her techniques on identifying key information, pinpointing key ideas, easy cataloging, Source Credibility, and many more methods which will not only boost your MUN preparation but also help you to find the right information for every phase of your life.


About EIMUN 2020:
Everest International Model United Nations (EIMUN) is probably South Asia's Premier Model UN Conference that invited 200 young leaders from all across the world. The conference shall be focussing on world issues of global concern; where participants shall be following a standard Rules to share and negotiate on possible innovative solutions through effective communication and meaningful collaboration.

By participating in a MUN Conference, not only will the participants learn to role play as real-life diplomats but also will be exposed to contemporary world scenarios, analytical and problem solving, leadership skills and networking opportunities. This unconventional form of learning and portrayal of leadership skills can always act as a plus point for you to convince your admissions officer or future employer of your exceptional strengths. The conference requiring at least one former MUN experience makes this workshop an opportunity for enthusiastic MUNers to get well prepared for an efficient diplomatic experience at the conference.


We believe that those who attend the workshop will be well acquainted and ready to face the MUN world. The workshop can play an instrumental role in introducing yourself to the arena of actual MUNs which facilitates young leaders like you into actively resolving the global issues through diplomacy, research, lobbying and debates.
