National Level MUN of Province No.5

Lumbini United Nations Simulation (LUNS) is National Level MUN of Province No.5, Nepal. The event is scheduled for 20th, 21th and 22nd of March 2020 and falls under the road to Everest International Model United Nations 2020, Organized by Youth Thinkers' Society in collaboration with US Embassy Nepal.
During the conference, the participants will role-play as the delegate of a particular nation. The participants from different backgrounds will work on to achieve a common goal of bringing up innovative ideas and policies addressing the prevailing global issues through dialogue, debate and discussion. The format of discussion would be UNA/USA Model United Nations.

Delegates will have to be acquainted with the following responsibilities:
1. Follow the Rules of Procedures and the Conference Code of Conduct
2. Arguments should be made in accordance with the policies of the country assigned
3. The Position Paper should be submitted on time
4. Coordinate with dais members of the committee
5. Extensive research should be performed on the agenda you are assigned.

Terms and Conditions Eligibility
1. All the delegates must be under 30 years of age
2. Participants must be enrolled in a High School, University, or be a recent Graduate
3. Any attempt to falsify the eligibility of delegates or violate the terms and conditions of LUNS may be excluded from the participation in the conference and considered ineligible for further participation in the following years.

Registration
Registration Charge for Non-residential is Rs 1450 and for residential is Rs 2500
*Note: We will be providing 12 diversity scholarship for all 12 districts of Province No. 5 to encourage applicants to be a part of this platform.
The registration fee will cover;
-Lunch
-Required documents of Conference
-Certificates of participation
-Accommodation(for residential delegates)
