Introduction: - Energy is the capacity of a physical system to perform work. Energy exists in several forms such as heat, kinetic or mechanical energy, light, potential energy, electrical, or other forms. Almost all the things we use everyday could not be made or used without energy. In the term of mechanical science, Classical mechanics distinguishes between kinetic energy, which is determined by an object's movement through space, and potential energy, which is a function of the position of an object within a field.
?SAVING ENERGY IS GOOD FOR US AND GOOD FOR THE PLANET?.
Requirement of Energy: -Energy is needed to heat water, which is used when you take a shower or wash your face in the morning. Just imagine washing your face or taking a shower with ice cold water in the winter. It would be bad. If you brush your teeth with an electric toothbrush, then energy allows your teeth to be clean. Energy even effects when you put on fresh clothes in the morning. Your clothing was probably made in a factory, which was powered by electricity. They may have been washed in an electric washing machine with heated water, and dried in a gas or electric dryer, or dried outside in the sun using solar energy.
Resources of energy in present:-
Some of the energy has been preserved as fossil energy and some is directly or indirectly usable, such as via wind, hydro- or wave power. Generally we are using fossil fuel in current. We must take care about these resources which are not renewable. We have coal to produce energy and also we depend upon water dam for producing the energy.
Lack of energy:-The fulfillment of the energy in all around the world is creating panic in the brains of the scientists. We need more energy by renewable formation because in current we are more depending upon the fossil fuels. The advancement of the technologies is asking for the energy. Everybody needs gadgets for day to day life, we are in the world of machines which requires for more and more energy.
Options for requirement of the energy:-We need to understand that renewable energy resources are very much affecting because of the lack of non renewable energy resources. We have solar panels which can convert the solar energy into the electrical energy. We can use wind energy which will be also helpful for the production of the electricity and most important is hydro energy resources like water dam with the help of turbines which can fulfill the high demands of the energy.
Young people and energy:-Create totally new production machinery, New kind of industry. We should renew the energy production so that no un-renewable resources are utilized and no emissions created. This means large fields of solar panels, windmills and geothermic energy. We need a new kind of traffic, where cars of today are considered totally old-fashioned. Our production and design of new products should be based mainly on the recycling processes and our forestry and agriculture should be renewed on a sustainable basis. Second possibility is to renew the nature with gigantic efforts. One example is forestation of the Sahara desert. This is possible by global co-operation, one part of the action being the desalination of sea-water. This is expensive but it is not at all as expensive as e.g. the wars have been. The project could be realized using all armies of the world.
Conclusion:-As we know that energy is very important for us because it required in every kind of work. We cannot even imagine our life without energy. The biggest responsibility of the youth is to save energy and work on renewable energy resources. There are various organizations which are working in renewable energy projects. The young scientists must work on it.
