On the occasion of World Food Day, the Hult Prize at IOF is going to conduct a webinar session on 'Status of National Food Policies: Impacting Food Security and Food Enterprise' on October 16th. Through this presentation-cum-discussion session, the Hult Prize at IOF intends to drain insights on how the national food policies have affected various food enterprises and possible ways to overcome them meanwhile also discussing on FAO's theme for World Food Day 2020 i.e. 'Grow, Sustain, Nourish. Together.' The session will be facilitated by the Division Chief at the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Dr. Rajendra Upreti. Also, the spokesperson of the ministry in Province no. 1, Dr. Upreti carries work experiences in the fields of agriculture, livelihood development, irrigation management, training, program planning, project management, climate change adaptation, and many more within Nepal and abroad. In agriculture development, Dr. Upreti has very good expertise in the fields of agriculture extension, agronomy, organic development, irrigation management, training, program planning, project management, climate change adaptation, and many more within Nepal and abroad. In agriculture development, Dr. Upreti has very good expertise in the fields of agriculture extension, agronomy, organic farming, conservation agriculture, seed production, plant nutrient management, plant protection, IPM, Farmers Field School, and System of Rice Intensification (SRI). Furthermore, he possesses long experiences of editing technical newsletters and running an agriculture radio program.
