Every human being deserves to be loved and supported regardless of their color, caste, gender and sexual orientation. 

LGBTIQ; people who have identified themselves as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex or queer are equally strong, worthy and lovable as all other people in every way. But our societies have not understood this yet. LGBTIQ communities have not been provided with equal rights, opportunities and support in our country yet. They have been discriminated, victimized and isolated in our societies since a very long time. Every other day, we hear about people being harassed and bullied for being LGBTIQ in Social Medias and public places. We see 'memes' in the social medias where LGBTIQ people are made fun of and humiliated. Our societies, our youth need to understand that being gay or lesbian is as equal as being a heterosexual. There are still considerable gaps in our knowledge about the LGBTIQ community which is resulting the discrimination. 

So, let's gather, talk and hear about what it's like to be a LGBTIQ in Nepal. Let's understand and support LGBTIQ community and celebrate Pride Month 2021 together.
