One day, I imagined opening a letter from the year 2050. It wasn’t from a friend or family member — it was from the Earth. The words were filled with both pain and hope.
the letter from earth- “Dear Humans, Long ago, my forests were green and full of life. My rivers were clean, and the air was fresh. But slowly, things began to change. My skies became dark with smoke. My oceans filled with plastic. My ice melted into water, flooding homes. Many animals disappeared — not because of nature, but because people forgot to care. I feel hurt, but I can still heal. I see children planting trees, young people saying no to plastic, and schools using solar power. These small actions give me hope. But I need more. I need you. Every choice you make — to save water, to walk or cycle, to reuse instead of waste — makes a big difference. It is not too late. If you care for me, you also care for your own future. With love, Earth.” When I finished reading, I felt sad but also responsible. The letter is not just a warning — it is a message for us today. If we start now, we can still change the future. CALL TO ACTION Here are three promises we can make to Earth: 1. Use less plastic — carry a bottle or bag that can be reused. 2. Plant trees — one tree can give air, shade, and shelter. 3. Speak up — tell others to protect nature. This letter from 2050 is a reminder. What we do today will decide what Earth writes tomorrow. Let’s reply with actions, not just words.
