How I Started My Environmental Journey as a Student in Hyderabad |

I never thought much about the environment until one rainy day in Hyderabad, when I saw plastic waste floating in the water near my school. It shocked me how such a small thing like a chocolate wrapper could end up choking a drain or harming animals. That day, I decided to become more aware — and take action. I started by doing small things: I refused plastic bags while shopping I began using a steel bottle instead of plastic I encouraged my classmates to bring their own lunch boxes instead of foil Then I discovered TUNZA Eco Generation. It inspired me to learn more and connect with students from all around the world who care about the same issues. Now, I plan to start a "Green Week" campaign in my school — where students will avoid plastic for 7 days, plant at least one sapling, and share what they learn with others. I want to create posters, speak in assemblies, and maybe even start a small Eco Club. I believe students like us can make a difference — not by being perfect, but by being consistent and aware. This is just the beginning of my journey, and I¡¯m excited to grow with the Eco Generation community. |

Thank you for your kind reminder! I am glad to share that we have launched an Eco Club in my school .One of our main initiatives is that each student plants a tree on their birthday and also takes care of it as their personal duty. This way, birthdays become a gift to nature. Our Eco Club also encourages regular care of these trees, and we are excited to see our green family grow with every birthday!¡±
