Tapari ( A plate made by arranging sal tree leaves )

by Shobha Pokhrel | 24-10-2020 23:17 recommendations 0

The picture that you see below is known as tapari In Nepal . Generally ,tapari are made by arranging the leaves of sal tree . These are   commonly used during the common festivals ,rituals ,ceremony in Nepal .But with the increasing modernization people are shifting towards plastic plates rather than these eco- friendly plates . Tappari are much more beneficial to our environment . They are biodegradable so that after the use of this they can be used to make compost manures .Our ancesters were fully dependent on this and nowdays we are moving away from this and shifting towards the world of plastic which is very dangerous to all of us .So , an urgent time has come up to promote this type of products so that our future generation could also live a healthy and happy eco friendly life .

 Thank you .
