Skill potential in Teenagers
Human beings give birth ,tiny baby .That baby raises  slowly unknowingly knowing various  things around us in a very innocent way. He/She learns various behaviour in  a indirect as well as direct  way and socialize with other. Finally reaches to the age of  13 , which he/she touches the beginning of teenage . Generally , 13-19 is regarded as teenage not only this ,teenage is the most productive stage of life . It is a raw time when  the person  turns out to be what he/she has moulded himself during this step. It is also a time when a person enters into college and starts making connection beyond family and relatives. The brain is also in very active stage at this time and what is inserted inside mind remains for very long. The another very fundamental part during teenage is acquiring new skills beyond educational  curriculum . Teenagers has  highest  amount of potential   to gain and learn new skills if they were provided with good mentorship. It is the stage of life when they got  first sensation about various things in life. The brain is at very active stage and  they can learn various skills which may help them to progress for life long.
There are various skills like speaking, writing, poetry, singing, dancing ,communicating, etc which gets more sharpe  upon getting mature. Different people have different skills and abilities. We must identify the skills in us and try to utilize those skills in a effective manner. For example there was a boy  named Hamhari Sharma, from western Nepal  Aacham, a district where most of the people are illiterate and chaupadi partha is still prevelant in that region. He studied in a local government school  where the basic infrastractures  were not available. The teachers were not skilled as well. They  even don't know the basic and the curriculum was even not completed in a year. But Hari was extra from rest of the students. Even he brought up with such skill , he has a very good ability of speaking in public. Whenever there were some events in schools or public gathering he used to give speech and all were surprised with his skills. Later years, he passed SLC  by the age of 16 and went to Kathmandu in order to pursue plus two and Kathmandu was very new places for him . But as he started to interact with variety of friends ,he further got chance to enhance his speaking skill. He joined public speaking class and later Kathamndu city looks like city of opportunity for him. He started to host various programmes in college as well and make everyone surprised with his speaking  skill.  One day he got an offer to host a show on radio ,and he started to make his own living at very early age. Then his journey continues towards television  also and  become the host of one of the most viewed show of television.
Skills are not inborn in person instead these skills can be enhanced  with proper mentorship. Besides book knowledge there should be regular extra curricular activities in school. So, that  students can know and realize the various skills of which they might not be aware of. There might not be equal opportunity for all .People who are high class may sent there children to very expensive schools  where there is lots of exposure of children to extracurricular activities. But there is a saying 'where there is a will, there is a way'. If we have interest and strong desire to pursue a thing nothing can stop us  from reaching a destination. What we need to do is  just identify in what thing we are good at and try polishing that skills in every step .Finally, we will  reach diverse background and  broaden our horizon of knowledge. Teenagers mind is like a following water it means mind is very active. On what  thing our mind is directed during this stage , will be the ultimate  goal where we reach in future.  We  should  try to learn various skills during various walks of our life which helps us to find new ways of thinking and problem solving. So, we should always wonder for learning new skills in life,  which  will definitely  going to matter a lot in future for sure.
