Ways To Better YOUR World |

The environment is constantly on the front page in today¡¯s world. There is the constant threat of global warming and the responsibility to leave a better world. With such a big earth it can feel overwhelming or that our efforts are not enough. There are some things that we can all do to make a big difference in the world we live in. Carpool We live in a fast paced world. A car is an essential part of our daily lives. We drive to work. We drive to school. There is almost nowhere we can go without our cars. But do we know the effects that our cars are having on the environment? Slowly but surely our cars are taking down our environment. The pollutants from all of us add up. Carpooling has many pros that can not only help earth but help you. Carpooling allows you to share the cost of gas and parking, cutting your expenses by nearly 50% or more; the more occupants in your carpool the more you save. Carpooling is also socially economical. Not only will you be saving, but you will also help reduce the costs we all pay towards the construction of new roads, road maintenance and air pollution related health costs. Bike You¡¯re paying a premium for the privilege of sitting in traffic during your commute. Let¡¯s say your mid-sized car uses 8L of gas for 100 km. If you drive 10 km to work one way, that¡¯s about 416L a year, just to commute. At $1.17 per litre, it will cost you about $486 a year. And that doesn¡¯t count wear and tear, depreciation, parking or insurance. Compare that to the cost of an annual bike tune-up, which can be less than $100. Starting and ending your day with an active commute can enhance your overall fitness. Health Canada recommends adults get 2.5 hours of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity each week. And cycling to work counts, McCormack says. Researchers in Japan and the United States found cycling improves heart fitness, and helps increase muscle mass and strength. That was especially true for older people. Recycle
A common symbol that can be seen on garbage bags, dump trucks and trash cans is of recycling. The phrase ¡®Reduce, Reuse, Recycle¡¯ is taught to children all over the world in the hope of creating a clean environment. We all know that recycling is a simple way in which every person can contribute to making a better world. But surely there must be more benefits of recycling than just reducing the amount of trash we throw out. After all, it takes time and effort to collect, separate and send away the trash.
Another solution could be using better products for the environment. There are countless products that can be used. One of these great products are Young Living Essential Oils. These oils are great and long lasting so no need for constant waste. Using any products like that can reduce waste and lead to a more healthy world.
