Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) is a aromatic perennial plant belonging to family Lamiaceae. It is also known as Holy Basil.Tulsi is very popular in India and Nepal. Basically people grow it with religious belief considering it as a form(avatar) of lord Bishnu. Tulsi plant has many incredible health benefits. Today I am here to share about some amazing benefits of tulsi and purpose to grow it and have it daily.
Growing tulsi plant in our house helps us get fresh aroma all the time and it keeps our environment clean. Tulsi plant is considered to be holiest among all other religious plants. Nepalese people also celebrate a ceremony called wedding of Tulsi in a specific day(11th lunarday of Kartik to Kartik Purnima).The health benefits of Tulsi are as follows:-
1. Helps to clear mouth and throat.
2. Reduces the chance of respiratory disorders.
3. Reduces chance of mouth ulcers.
4. Cures cancerous cells in body.
5. Helps in curing malarial fever and normal cold fever.
6. Reduces blood sugar
7. Regulates blood flow in body and reduces stress.

9. Helps to solve asthma problem.
10. Aplying Paste of tulsi on face and hair makes our skin glowing and hair shiny.
