 Bamboo - A super plant

Bamboo is a super plant and it is also called as carbon sink as it absorbs five times more carbondioxide and produces 35% more oxygen than similar group of plant or tree. It is the fastest growing woody plant in the world. To thrive like this, bamboo bamboo requires no pesticides and little water. As it don't require any pesticides or chemicals it is very good for environment. When bamboo plant is harvested it regenerates itself in a flash. It reduces soil erosion and nourishes the soil. Bamboo are really very good for environment.Bamboo plants
have strong roots in ground which makes the soil more stable. This means it can stabilise and restore the land and prevent landslide. Bamboo helps to protect biodiversity and endangered species by creating homes for a variety of different animals.

Nowadays several bamboo products are used by replacing plastic products for a clean and green environment .Several bathroom products such as brush and other plastic wrapped products are replaced with bamboo products.

You can even use bamboo for different purpose or utilize them by making several DIY. I utilized the bamboo near my home for plantation. It not only looks unique and beautiful but it is ecofreindly too.
