Nepal is an agro based country. The geographical feature of our country suits us to give priority towards the field of agriculture. The beautiful landscape and it's beauty emphasize us to grow the crops. Varities of crops suits for us to grow. Rice “Oryza Sativa” is also one of the most cultivated crop in our country. Rice is the food taken by nepalese daily and connsist of nutrition mainly carbohydrate. It is cultivated in the monsoon season and some of it's seeds are off seasonal too. For the cultivation of rice following measures can be taken: 1. Firstly , the seed quality and it's selection should be made, 2. Proper land preparation should be made for it's cultivation 3. Proper requirement should be given as water, sunlight, and also proper care should be given as insects can degrade the quality of crops 4. Harvest should be done properly as the waste products can be used for the purpose of agricultural industry. This is the simplified process for the cultivation of paddy. I expect you all will like my report on the cultivation of paddy . I would like to thank for Tunza for providing me beautiful opportunity for sharing my idea on the cultivation of paddy. I have uploaded a photo of beautiful paddy field and expect to be useful for all who are in search of cultivating paddy. |

Paddy cultivation, one of the major cultivation practice in Nepal. I hope those tall buildings by the field won??t replace these paddy cultivation in future due to urbanization.
