Roof top farming:A way to green environment and healthy food. |

Being the new member on Tunza I am here to share my roof top garden and some facts with everyone.The rocketing population growth is being the matter of glance for the whole world. With this situation today the world is facing some serious sorts of problems .Though the world has given everything to sustain the population but it is rapidly increasing. With this the land areas are getting lesser and lesser second by second. Crisis and scarcity is the point to be focused in many least developed countries. Daily there are hundred of peoples who leaves the soul because of scarcity and crisis. Regarding this I have developed an idea of “Roof Top Farming”. This is the unique way of growing the crops. The people who have an idea of agriculture can grow the crops in the roof of their own house. This helps the problem of scarcity and makes easier for us to run the lives of our own without any circumstances. For “ Roof Top Farming” following process can be taken: 1. We should have to identify our roof is suitable to hold the weight of crops that we grow or not. 2. We should make sure that our roof is perfect location with all the facility for growing crops . 3. Roof top farming can be more windier than other so we should give resistance to it. 4. Finally proper care and maintenance should be provided to uplift the growth of crops and maintain it's beauty. Though leakage can be the major problem of roof top farming but this method can certainly be benefit for the people living in areas of high population and also it provides the organic crops for our good health. I have uploaded of a photo of my roof where I have make the best utilization of waste plastic pots .I feel this concept to be very useful for the people living in urban area. I am so glad to share my experience in Tunza. |
