Let's end this act: World Suicide Prevention Day 2019

Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one own's death.Today is World Suicide Prevention Day which is observed on 10th September in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent.According to WHO director,"Despite progress  on prevention on suicide one person still dies every 40 seconds from suicide .Suicide rate is highest in high income countries .This has become the second leading cause of death among young people after road injury.Most applied methods of suicide are hanging,pesticide self-poisoning and fire arms.There can be many causes of suicide such as mental stress,physical torture not fulfillment of demands,feeling of weak or low than other people .
Here,prevention of suicide has become a universal challenge.Every year suicide has become among the top 20 leading cause of death globally for people of all ages.It is responsible for over 800,000 deaths which equates to one suicide every 40 seconds.Every life lost represents someone is partner,child, parent,friend or colleague.For each suicide approximately 135 people suffer intense grief or are otherwise affected for every suicide,25 people make a suicide attempt and many more have serious thoughts of suicide.
The ISAP is preparing "World Suicide Prevention Day. Light  a candle near a window at 8 PM" e-cards or post-cards in various languages so supporters can send these reminders to friends,colleagues and loved ones.The World Suicide Prevention Day event is about our global community: to encourage us to engage with each other and to join together to spread awareness of suicide prevention.Individuals, organizations  and company can use the banners on their website to promote World Suicide Prevention Day.

    Suicide has became one of the burning problems nowadays.
    Of course suicide is not a solution to any problems. Rather of engulfing our mind into a negative thoughts, we must engage on various activities to prevent ourself from that issue.
