Are you ready to explore the magic, experience the fun and excitement and to sizzle this Winter with giant colorful lanterns, illuminated animal sculptures inspired by wildlife and beautifully ice crafted sculptures that represent the nature and its landscapes.??!! Then your destination has to be Dubai Garden Glow. It is quite interesting to know that all structures of the park were handmade by 500 artisans from around the world in 100 days. Sustainable environment and infrastructure is one of the national priority as per UAE Vision 2021. As an environmentalist and green activist, I strongly believe that we can change our existing practices into green and sustainable solutions using technology. Dubai Garden Glow is the best example to the statement as they used the best technology and talent to provide innovative recreation in a safe, secure and eco-friendly environment. The garden glow is a result of this vision to promote sustainability and showcase the world¡¯s beauty to us. Apart from this, there is a special edutainment zone where kids can have lots of interactive fun. Do you throw your plastic bottles or cds? You might not do the same after visiting the newly-introduced Art Park, where you will see the glowing artworks made entirely with recycled materials: 14,000 medicine bottles, 3,000 plastic bottles, 2,000 music CDs, and 1,000 porcelain artefacts. Russian and Chinese artists work soak us in the "glowing" art which teaches us the benefits of recycling and being environment-friendly. Art park adds a gem on the Dubai Garden Glow park¡¯s prevailing glory and creates a unique platform to display distinct creations. There are various gigantic installations which includes a big raging bull, colorful swans, a king cobra, a panda, a peacock, all made up of tiny glass medicine bottles; camels done with CDS, and a huge elephant made of porcelain ware. I enjoyed my experience in the thrilling journey with animals all round in the ¡°Glowing Safari¡±. Rather I should say my sister and my family truly enjoyed the evening while exploring the other attractions of the garden that include the Flower Valley, Glittering Butterfly Trail, Happy Forest, Peacock Tunnel, Big Rabbit, Happiness Tree, Happiness Street, Lady Butterfly, Mosquito Family, Lizard Family, Fish Tunnel, and the City of Happiness and the Flavors of Arabia includes a giant traditional teapot. I bet every visitor will look back many times before they exit DGG just like us!!! |
