Separation Of Renewable and Non-Renewable wastes.

by Bhanubhakta Adhikari | 18-01-2019 01:41 recommendations 0

The use of dustbin has been promoted nowadays. The awareness campaign conducted by the youth groups and social media has made this possible.

But still the renewable and non-renewable things are not separated properly.

A substance or waste that can be used time and again(more than once) are called renewable wastes. The plastics, some glasses pieces, papers are the example of renewable substances.

Non-renewable waste includes any organic matter in waste which can be broken down into simple organic molecules by micro-organisms and cannot be used time and again. These things include the household wastes, vegetables and fruit covers and so on. They can be made compost manure if they are decomposable(I will be posting about compost manure in other report).

The picture shows the dustbin installed at the school after one of my school campaign(I will explain about it in other report).

There is the use of two dustbins together so that the renewable and non-renewable wastes could be separated easily. The non-renewable wastes will be used to make the compost manure if decomposable or shall be dumped making a pit.(I will be posting process of making compost manure in next report).

The renewable wastes are reused, recycle and reduced so that they can be used time and again and environmental pollution could be reduced. The bottles are used for decorating the school compound and the use of plastic is being replaced by the use of cloth bags. The papers are used to wrap as decorating materials and also for making paper bags.
