A serious concern guys?? This year it is not raining in my country as it used to in the previous years. In my country where more than half or the population are farmers, majority depend on monsoon for farming. No monsoon, no farming. No farming, greater imports. Greater imports, higher prices. And when higher prices will be charged then most people unable to afford will starve. This is a concern in itself but what poses a greater threat is the volatility of the climate prevalent in here. Today it rains heavily and then for a couple of days there is scorching heat. And the average temperature has also risen and it's very hot compared to previous years. It seems as if the climate is at its worst and one can't even predict what is to come next. If this problem of severe climate change and enhanced global warming does not cease then it will cause greater harm even to vegetation, wildlife and human life as well. |

This is such a serious issue , the sudden climatic changes are occurring all over the globe , the summers are turning into monsoons at some places and while at the other places there isnt any sign on monsoons. all this is due to the global warming and environmental pollution that we(humans) are giving rise to . Temperatures at the polar areas are gradually increasing , glaciers are melting . we need to take some step ASAP to stop this or every day we are getting closer to the End of The World .

Yeah Shishir, our land is left dry in this plantation time. It had never been such harsh before, our farmers are vulnerable and food security is questionable. Its urgent to adapt and mitigate climate change, otherwise huge loss and vulnerability is for sure.

Erratic rainfall and drought are headache. Especially when irrgation channel are not well developed and promising. I am just worried about increase in food insecurity we will have in future.
We need to ponder on such issues. :) Thanks for the concern Shishir and welcome to amazing evnvironmental platform )

oh....this is the same in Korea as well. We had barely any rain until typhoon comes. Abnormal climate changes make the world suffer. We have to raise more awareness on the ultimate cause of these signs and push people towards an action.
