The First Banyu Javanese Dance: IGAF at the 7th World Water Forum

This year, IGAF harbored a great avenue and tremendous occasion as one of boons of the God-Alloh SWT- and the committees of the 7th World Water Forum to organize the Banyu Javanese Ballet and Water Project Edu-sharing programme. The programme consisted of three consecutive implementations of the proposed events to the Forum committees.
However, the total of programmes organized by IGAF delegates was five programmes. The two were as follows: due to high accomplishment and strong responsibility of IGAF delegates to execute the programme, the Committees requested to IGAF delegates to perform an ancillary of the 2nd Banyu Javanese Ballet before closing ceremony of the Citizens Forum of the 7th World Water Forum. Lastly, IGAF also got an allowance of the Water Youth Network to co-joint a booth in which IGAF introduced the IGAF Eco-projects and the partners to national and international participants. IGAF in partnership with TUNZA Eco-generation conducted a mutually environmental promotion to children, youths and some parliamentarians, ministerials and so forth via using TUNZA Eco-generation promotional goods. Meanwhile, other IGAF partners were introduced and branded through X-Banners and Ummu?s Presentation, a young guest speaker representing IGAF partners, consisting of several outstanding environmental projects done by respective IGAF partners (YUNGA UNFAO, UNEP TUNZA SEAYEN,
UNESCO Sandwatch Foundation, YPARD, GEF Small Grants Programme UNDP, ).
In general, these programmes were intended to exchange IGAF best practices and water traditional conservation ways done by children, youths and local communities in Indonesia among the participants of the Forum. In addition, these programme aimed to discuss and share water issues and solutions from youth perspectives around the world.



1. 1st BANYU JAVANESE BULLET
Description :
The bullet depicted three water dances incorporated with Javanese poetry and bullet. It emphasized the culture of Java people or tribes to conserve water sustainably with considering future use of water, nature and generation. It consisted of three dances which are Dwirupa dance, Srikandhi- Arjuna dance and Peacock dance. These dances were positively interesting to be watched because it combined traditional culture and traditional ways of conserving water ala Java people.

objectives :

a. to entertain participants of the 7th World Water Forum with artistically traditional
performance brought by Indonesia young talented dancers,
b. to educate implicitly of how to maintain and conserve water in Java Island with
considering altruistic and better environment,
c. to introduce and promote traditional dance from Java Island incorporated with bullet.

Time and Venue :

The bullet was held on 14 April 2015 at 11.00-11.30 am in HICO outdoor stage, Gyeongju, Republic of Korea.
