BRAZIL- Planting Activity> EARTH DAY

The Earth Day is one of the most meaninful celebration day during the year. In a lot of regions in our world Humans, resource and life are facing by a significant amount of challenges. For instance: equality between men and women, better healthcare, an honest and responsive government, better job opportunities, political freedom, reliable energy at home, a good education, protection against crime and violence, freedom from discrimination and persecution, protecting forests, rivers and oceans, support for people who can not work, better transport and roads access to clean water and sanitation, action taken on climate and affordable and nutritious food for everyone. We(humans) caused all of this issues and the ones who acquire the obligation to solve such problems are US! I do appreciate the inniative of Tunza in order to instigate actions arund the world. Therefore, it was on 22th April 2015 (Eart Day) that the "Casa do Bom Menino" took action under my orientation for a planting activity. The non-profit organization support childrem and youth with personal problems in family, life etc. It was planted 12 native trees around the institute and all the children and youth who attended liked the activity. Also, it was mentioned about the importance of a green atmosphere for the planet Earth. Hopefully, they got interested for the mission of take care of the Earth and to plant trees! LUIZ BISPO
