Clean Up Beach Drive

by | 09-02-2015 06:03 recommendations 0

Clean Up Sharjah Campaign 2015 concluded on 30th Jan,2015. Its last event was the clean up beach drive which was held at Al Khan Beach, Sharjah. It was a huge success since we got a support of around 100 volunteers. We had a street play at the event addressing the major issues related to the environment. It was greatly applauded and enjoyed by all. This was followed by a talk about Tunza Eco-Generation and a giveaway of some goodies. This event marked the end of the campaign for the year 2015.

It was a good experience, Abhinav. For me, getting a 15 minute slot for talking about Tunza Eco-Gen, Conducting an Eco-Quiz & distribution of Promotional Goods was an icing on the cake. I hope you liked the Tunza Eco-Generation, Eco-friendly Canvas Bag that I presented to you.

Yes , Abhinav , Undoubtedly it was a grand success , I heard from many people. Unfortunately due to my Friday classes , I couldn't be part of it . Infact this was the first students driven , students' led "Clean up " in Shj on such a scale. Congrats to you and all the participants. When you discussed the initial idea with me , I was wondering if it would turn out the way you aimed but hats off to your leadership planning and implementation skills.
