UAE Green Development Strategy 2015 |

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President of UAE and Ruler of Dubai launched ?UAE Green Development Strategy'15? to build a green economy in UAE .
Sustainable development connot have a real purpose without a green economy. The UAE will create 160,000 jobs by 2030 and save billions of dirhams annually by implementing this 'green growth' strategy. UAE Green Development Strategy aims to build an economy that preserves the environment, and an environment that supports economic growth. UAE seeks an economy that will provide opportunities for the citizens, preserve resources, and enhance global competitiveness. The strategy includes six tracks: - The first track aims to promote renewable energy, clean fuels, and energy efficiency usage. The UAE has turned a new leaf this time. They are now focussing on urging corporates and compaies to make investments in green development, green technologies and renewable forms of energy. In my belief, in today's world,investments in environmental sector can have tremendous returns in the near future. In the future, green energy might be the only form of energy left. Agree with you Hafiz. There has been tremendous growth and development in UAE in the past few decades. Yet the country has not let go of its culture and heritage and has also integrated environmental sustainability as a part of its development. Thanks for your noteworthy words Hafiz:)

Uae is going to be one of the most prestigious part of the world.they made high rise buildings,one of the finest structure of the world.now they are going towards their green development strategy.its amazing policy that uae is following.they are keep moving with all segments of life.simply in one line i must say this 6 point are fabulous in view of aesthatic sense.

Catching up traditional technology is really hard but in eco-friendly tech area, there are still wide range of possibility to pass the developed countries. It's environmentally good and awesome for the country's competitiveness!

I urge youth in different regions to take initiative. If youth collectively take up green initiatives, it will encourage leaders to take action too. It will help promote actions for sustainability to a global level.
