Hope this will inspire everyone. Age doesn't matter. Even in our small ways, it can be a great and gigantic voice for the environment. (from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Website)
(Editor's Note: In an email to DENR Secretary Ramon J. P. Paje, an awed sixth-grader writes a moving tribute to the DENR's groundbreaking gains over the past four years. Sophia Javier of St. Bridget School of Quezon City precociously connects the dots to show why the country's stride for economic progress depend on the seemingly remote task of protecting the endangered species and preserving the environment. And in salute to DENR's unending efforts in Philippine environmentalism, she raises a clarion call for more voices among her generation to also do (their) duty for this advocacy.)

You are welcome guys! And yes! That is our role as a youth! We can touch others' hearts and can influence them in conserving and taking care of the environment and natural resources! We are small but when we are together...our voice is gigantic. :)

I am so happy to find such young people showing deep interest for the environment already. Hopefully our next generation will follow this girl's example in caring for the Earth, and take active roles to make the Earth greener.

Good job Jekk , the writing and emailing an editors of newspapers or magazines , as well as sending such letters to a government officers to highlight some points about environment issues is a great idea and a easy way to rise our voice for the sake of our community and our earth .

Agreed with Rohan. It is the Youth who will become tomorrow's global citizens, which makes it a necessity to nurture in the youth a positive attitude towards nature and its diversity of wildlife.Subsequently, this will have a profound impact on environmental and wildlife protection in the future generations.
Thanks for sharing, Jekk.
We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.

Well reported Jekk.
I believe our future is aptly secured with this bunch of committed children.
I am also sure that DENR authorities will be highly motivated for more efforts by profound praise by this child.
