Nagaram Gas Tragedy Burns Environment Reserves and Human Beings |

Aecas India Pays Rich Tributes to all people who lost their Lives In Nagaram Gas Tragedy happened on 27/06/2014. We in AECAS were shocked to hear such a tragedy which scattered the lives and belongings of East Godavari District-AndhraPradesh People. A day was rose to them with fire flames and screaming noises , by the time people reached there about 15 people were burnt brutally where their family members are unable to recognize them.Many flora and fauna species were hardly burnt trees were totally collapsed and fired , Worth a crores of Environmental and natural reserves are fired by negligence. East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh is called as a Coconut Country and also it can be termed as a Kerala in Andhra pradesh people here are very honest and good cultured . While east godavari has a good reserves in Environmental concern in the same way there are lot of reserves of Gas . This gas is being trapped and possessed by many Corp-orates and Authorities like ONGC , GAIL . while these people are in the anesthesia of grabbing money they forgot the innocent people and their safety measures. I feel pity for the authorities in this 3g generation they are practicing early man stage methods and activities. Friends lets Think!! Think a while !!! Question Them !!!! Cant they assist 1.Safety officers to identify pre leaks 2.Ambulances and fire Engines near the reserves 3.Sensor based equipment 4.Rich Quality materials like pipes and their fittings 5.Fire alarms This is only the negligence by this authorities where innocent people payed their lives for the thirst of useless authorities. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/14-killed-15-injured-in-gas-pipeline-blast-in-Andhra-Pradesh/articleshow/37299930.cms |

This is a horrific tragedy. The combustion of such enormous amount of gas will have serious effects on the environment.

Thank you for sharing Vinay. Negligence can't be justified in this kind of tragedies. I agree with your opinion that government should take stricter and effective rules to prevent further tragedies like this.

Hey friends we have to question and ensure that government should take safety measures and strict rules on this gas authorities where are place in middle of habitations.
