Perhaps we should take a lesson from nature and recycle our own rubbish more. So many things that we use come from the ground - like stuff used to make an aluminum drinks can, a tin for baked beans or the metals in a mobile telephone. Plastic is made from oil - that's right, the same that makes petrol for a car! The trouble is that damage can be done to the environment to get these "resources", not to mention that one day they'll run out.
A lot of energy (like electricity) is used to get these resources and make them into something useful. If we just turn our old stuff into new stuff we could save a lot of that energy. So next time you're about to throw something in the bin ask yourself, can it be recycled or used again? |

Also I'm very sad not being able to attend the environmental academies (environmental program in various school). Was amongst the 5 youth speakers screened out of 250 applications throughout the state, though sometimes conditions are not in hand and destiny has something else in store, glad to be a part of the program.
My student life always work as a barrier in my social life but don't worry good days are not so far.

Hi Rohit how have you been? I don't have any pre plan for this world environment day and as you might know our classes will be starting from 6th june. But don't worry I'm planning to organize an youth based door to door campaign in this week. You can join me as my helping hand.
I already received Eco-Generation goods for the program. I will call you shortly :)
