the 68th Independence Day of Indonesia Commemoration (@under Salayar Sea)

In addition to having a rich cultural diversity, Indonesia is also famous for sea rich with potential. That's why the red and white flag held under the ocean waters Selayar Regency, South Sulawesi, in commemoration of the 68th Indepedence of Indonesia, Saturday (17/8).

A total of 36 divers consisting of local residents, students, Basarnas, KORPRI members, police, local government, and the military is ready to take part in the raising of the flag at the bottom of the sea Selayar. To support the event, has prepared four speed boat that will transport the divers, 98 oxygen cylinders, regulators 42, 245 kilograms of ballast, 46 fin, 44 and 45 masks wetsuit.

Location of the flag was about a mile from the Port of People, Benteng, Selayar District. Location called Sitio Mardin with a depth of about 8-20 feet below sea level. The exact location for the flag raising as the ground beneath a flat sea.

Sitio Mardin was still part of the Taka Bonerate national park area, known as the region's with third largest atoll in the world.
