Making "Biopori" Holes together |

It just a long time not posting anything in the world report. A few days ago is really busy time for me. On this month, I really have great times with all my friend that spending their summer to do their environmental project. They are from Egypt, Cesc. Republic, Belgium, Germany, China, Vietnam, Spain, and Netherlands.
Here what we were doing during this Ramadhan time ... hope it could give you more Ideas and good initiatives during your summer day ... All of us were making "Biopori" Holes in Kemiling, Lampung Province, Indonesia. The place that near my house. Biopori holes has been widely known in Indonesia for several years. Biopori holes was claimed to be able to minimize flooding, help channeling rainwater runoff back to ground thus maintaining ground water retention, and reduce landfill by self-managing domestic organic waste. It was really exciting activity! |
