TIME TO USE YOUR REUSABLE SHOPPING BAG FOR ALL GROCERIES!
Few hours ago, I visited several traditional markets. The market was full of people that made me couldn?t breathe easily. The market which was full of people ... ehm, that meant a lot of plastic bags will be used to carry groceries. Then, it was right! a lot of housewives were using plastic bags in every purchase. They brought some small plastic bags at their arms. Indeed, just with one big plastic bag, they actually could bring all groceries, and refuse another plastic to be used. Unfortunately, a lot of buyers are still not aware with the dangers of plastic bags to the mother earth. They use plastic for just one item. Therefore it will be a lot of plastic bags to be used and create mountains of plastic waste. It also could pollute the environment, especially land. That?s why we have to take actions, especially for Indonesian youths, because there are still many people who do not realize the importance of preserving the environment. The first action is to minimize the use of plastic bags in order to reduce plastic garbage piles. Plastic waste is also one of the causes of flooding. Therefore, this is the time to use the reusable shopping bag that create by yourself and help me to share this! TOGETHER WE CAN! Thanks all... I try to promote the green lifestyle, started by not using the plastic bags. Have a great ifthar! (*for Indonesia). |
